Flexrite Chemgiene announces consolidated product range
FlexRite Chemgiene, the company that resulted from the merger of two of Britain’s best-known UK flexible hose suppliers in 2005, has announced that the integration of both companies’ product ranges is now complete. This has resulted in what is claimed to be the UK’s largest source of hygienic, chemical transfer and industrial hose assemblies, meeting applications across the brewery, dairy, food, pharmaceutical and chemical and other industries.
For food and dairy applications, the industry standard Lactopal range of hoses - featuring liquid contact surfaces made from extruded food grade nitrile rubber liners - are supplemented with the lightweight Supergiene Lite F range for applications where frequent handling is required and the lower weight per meter of the hose is important.
In the Brewery and Beverage industry where butyl liners are preferred, Flexrite Chemgiene remains the sole UK distributor of Purple Snake brewer's hose. In turn this range is supplemented by the Supergiene Lite range of lightweight brewers hose, which can be colour coded to separate, for example, yeast handling hoses from bright beer hose. All hygienic hose assemblies incorporate the tried and tested Flexrite hygienic coupling, which has more than 20 years of service behind it.
In addition, the company can provide from stock a wide variety of special hose products for use in tanker bays, clean rooms, on filling machines and for transferring cleaning and other chemicals in industry.
Formed from CRP Flex-Rite Ltd and Chemgiene Ltd last year, Flexrite Chemgiene has its sales and production unit at a purpose built factory at Wellingborough in the UK. It offers complete hose management services, including on-site testing and surveys, hygienic hoses, PTFE lined hoses, general industrial and chemical hoses, washdown equipment, quick release and ancillaries.
